The New Cumberland Police Department consists of the Mayor, Police Chief and six additional
sworn police officers as well as one civilian administrative assistant.

We provide 24 hour police service to the residents of the borough, answering on the average of 400 calls per month.

In an effort to help keep the lines of communication open between borough residents and the police department,
we’ve created this website with the hope and expectation that everyone who wishes to contact us can do so with ease.
I invite anyone who has any concerns in which the police department may be able to assist with to contact us so
we can address the issues at hand.

Our telephones are monitored on a 24 hours basis.
E-mail accounts are checked frequently but should only be used for follow up communication.

All requests for an officer to respond to your location or to call you back should be made by
calling 911 for emergencies or (717)774-0400 for non emergencies.
